[RESOLVED] Marketplace Beta and Xstreet Issues

[RESOLVED 8:23pm PDT] We’ve fixed the email bug and re-enabled the notification system.

[UPDATE 1:35 PDT] We have temporarily disabled Xstreet & Marketplace sale notification emails from being sent while we continue to investigate this issue.

[Posted 1:12pm PDT] We are aware of current issues regarding Xstreet and the Marketplace Beta. We are currently investigating and will update here as more information becomes available

[RESOLVED 06:42 PDT] All issues have been resolved.

[POSTED 17 Aug 2010, 05:27 PDT] We are experiencing some issues with logins, L$ transactions, and teleports. Some regions are also unavailable. At this time, it is advisable to refrain from making any inworld transactions or transferring items between accounts. We also recommend not doing anything with no-copy items at this time. We will update this blog when we have more information.

[RESOLVED 06 Aug 2010, 08:49pm PDT] The asset server issues have been resolved at this time.

[Posted 06 Aug 2010, 7:29pm PDT]  We are currently experiencing some isolate asset server issues. This may present delays in viewing textures and some teleport failures. We are investigating the cause, please check back here for updates.

[RESOLVED] Network Maintenance on 05 Aug

[RESOLVED 6th Aug 2010 00:20AM PDT]  Network maintenance has now been completed.

[Updated 05 Aug 2010, 10:50pm PDT] Our scheduled network maintenance will be proceeding on schedule. Just as a reminder, please refrain from rezzing no copy objects. We will update this blog post when the maintenance has completed.

[Posted 04 Aug 2010, 5:15pm PDT] We will be conducting network maintenance on Thursday, August 5th starting at 11:00pm, lasting approximately 1 hour. During this time, residents may experience some teleport failures, if that happens, attempt to teleport again. In addition, during this time please refrain from rezzing no copy objects. We will update this post with more information as the maintenance progresses.

[RESOLVED] Possible Login Failures

[Resolved 10:40am PST] Login issues have been corrected, teleports and other services should be available again.

[Posted 11:56am PST] We are experiencing some difficulties with one of our inventory servers. TPs may be sporacic along with some inventory operations issues. Some residents will not be able to log into Second Life until this has been resolved. Please check back here for updates.

[RESOLVED] General Network Latency Issues

[Resolved 10:15 am PDT] The latency issues have been resolved.

We’re currently experiencing an unusual surge in what appear to be latency-related issues: teleport failures, rubber banding on border crossings, etc.

This isn’t restricted to connections through the viewer. For a number of Residents (and Lindens), it’s difficult to load Webpages and other external links.

We’re attempting to trace the source of the slowdown and assess the overall impact on our services. We’ll keep you posted on anything we find, assuming the interwebs don’t magically correct themselves in the interim.

[RESOLVED] Technical Difficulties: Logins are now enabled.

[RESOLVED 11:05 am PDT] Services have been restored and logins are re-enabled. For the next few minutes, please be patient as you log in and try to ride a login attempt all the way through, rather than canceling and retrying.

We’re expecting TPs to be more difficult than normal for much of the rest of the day. We’ll be monitoring all services closely and will keep you posted here if in world performance changes.

[Updated 9:40 am PDT] The issue that we are currently experiencing has been identified. However, we do not have an expected ETA. As soon as we have further information we will update this blog.

[8:48 am PDT] We are aware that there are various technical issues taking place currently inworld and on the website. We are investigating this situation and working towards a quick resolution.

Some of the symptoms involved are difficulty to teleport, transactions failing and the inability to login. Please refrain from making inworld transactions, inventory transfers or rezzing items inworld. Please check this blog for further updates.
