[RESOLVED] Teleporting Difficulties

[Resolved 3:20pm PST] - The current Teleporting issues have been resolved and success rates are now back to normal.

[13:54] There is currently an issue unrelated to the earlier network problems that is interfering with residents ability to teleport. The issue is under investigation and further information will be posted when available.

[Resolved 5:03 pm Pacific] Service reliability should now be back to normal.

[UPDATE 4:40 pm Pacific] TPs and Group functions are also impacted.

One of our slave databases has temporarily fallen out of synchronization. This is impacting performance of the Find and Map tools, and should correct itself very shortly.

[RESOLVED] Phone Support Currently Unavailable

[RESOLVED 12:30pm PDT] - Phone support has been restored and is once again available.

We have temporarily lost phone support via our service provider. We have taken steps to contact them and hope to have phone support back up as soon as possible. We will keep you posted and let you know as soon as phone support has been restored. Please feel free to submit a support ticket in the meantime.

[RESOLVED 12:20pm PDT] The main blog is now functioning properly. If you continue to have any issues viewing the blog, refreshing your browser should bring it back.

Our main blog is experiencing intermittent disruption and may be unavailable at points. The third party hosts are aware of this and working on the issue at this time.

Recent voice chat outage and how to resolve.

We had some issues with voice not working correctly, but it has already been resolved. However, you may find that it is not working properly for you, if this is the case then please disable, then enable, voice chat. Alternatively, you can try logging out of Second Life and logging back in again.

If you continue to experience an issue, please contact support.

We are aware that Showcase is currently not working in the viewer. We are investigating the problem now and will update this blog with any further updates.

[Resolved] LindeX Website Problems with IE

[Resolved 11:53 p.m. PDT] The LindeX page should now work properly in Internet Explorer.

Some residents are currently experiencing difficulties with the LindeX exchange page, while using Internet Explorer. Our web developers are working on the solution for this and expect it to be resolved soon. In the mean time, other browsers such as Firefox, or the in-world Buy L$ feature, can be used.

Resolved 5:15 p.m. PDT - These services have returned to normal.

Update 3:36 p.m. PDT - We appreciate your patience today while the test viewer and search remain unavailable. Updates will be provided until we are fully functional.

Update 12:34 p.m. PDT - As a result of the technical issue affecting our test viewer downloads, Search ALL result icons and click-through pages are also unavailable.

Update 11:22 a.m. PDT - The primary viewer download for Second Life 1.19.1(4) is restored for all supported platforms, but the optional downloads remain temporarily inaccessible.

Update 10:48 a.m. PDT - Please continue to use the link below to access our regular web services with the exception of our viewer download. We will continue to provide updates as new information is available.

Update 9:48 a.m. PDT - Our primary website may produce a 500 server error as well . You can access our regular website services by going directly to Support

Attempting to access our viewer download may result in a Connection Interruption message. We are looking into this now and will provide updates when they become available.

[Resolved 2:36 PM PDT] Services have been fully restored.

We are currently experiencing some difficulties with our database. This may result in difficulty teleporting, failure to rez objects and complete transactions, and inability to log in to the Support Portal. Until we solve this issue, we have restricted logins, as well as disabled the Land Store. We encourage you not to rez any valuable objects or make important transactions until this issue is resolved. As always we will keep you up to date here as the siatuation progresses, and we thank you for your patience.

Logins were temporarily disabled to address a database issue for a few minutes, they are open now. In-world transactions and related issues are now behaving well again and you may return to normal activities.
