[Resolved] Service Interruptions

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008

[Resolved 2:36 PM PDT] Services have been fully restored.

We are currently experiencing some difficulties with our database. This may result in difficulty teleporting, failure to rez objects and complete transactions, and inability to log in to the Support Portal. Until we solve this issue, we have restricted logins, as well as disabled the Land Store. We encourage you not to rez any valuable objects or make important transactions until this issue is resolved. As always we will keep you up to date here as the siatuation progresses, and we thank you for your patience.

In-world issues.

Logins were temporarily disabled to address a database issue for a few minutes, they are open now. In-world transactions and related issues are now behaving well again and you may return to normal activities.

[Resolved 1:10pm PDT] - Logins have been re-enabled and the database is feeling much better now. Be gentle, it has a little headache.

Logins have been disabled momentarily to help the database recover. We expect them to re-open within the half hour. You may see some database related issues in the meantime.

[RESOLVED] Logins Closed to Stabilize DB Performance

We’ve temporarily closed logins to stabilize database performance. We’ll keep you posted on details as they emerge.

[ALL CLEAR] Inworld Services Disrupted

Tuesday, May 13th, 2008

[ALL CLEAR 11:43 PM Pacific] Logins are open and the asset system is stabilized.  Please be patient logging in for the next few minutes.  If possible, wait for the first login to complete instead of canceling and retrying, so that you maintain your position in the login queue.

[UPDATE 10:58 PM Pacific] Logins are now Linden-only while Operations repairs the asset system. Please do not attempt valuable transactions until the ALL CLEAR is given.

[UPDATE 10:30 PM Pacific] Operations is continuing to assess the slowdown. They’re sufficiently engaged in the effort that getting more details from them at the moment would be a counterproductive distraction. We’ll ask them for more information when possible, and a follow up post when the slowdown is cleared.

There’s an issue with the asset servers which is interfering with a number of inworld services. It is being investigated, but until the issue is resolved, please refrain from making transactions or rezzing no-copy items.

[RESOLVED] Database Issues

Monday, May 5th, 2008

[RESOLVED 2:13 PM PDT] - The database has been recovered and all services should now perform normally.

We are currently experiencing issues with our database. As such, please refrain from transactions. Slow/problematic logins along with other database related issues may be experienced during this time.

We should be back to normal operation within the hour.

[CLOSED] Updating Your Credit Card Issue

Friday, April 25th, 2008

[UPDATE 25 April 08, 3:40 pm Pacific]

Our payment processor has fixed and tested the process.  All card operations (including updates) are now running within normal time frames.

*****

Due to an issue with our payment processor, we are unable to update your credit card information at this time. Attempting to delete and update your credit card will be indefinitely delayed. You may enter card data but it will not be active in our system for potentially several more hours .

If you have valid credit card or payment information, you can continue to USE it with no problems- this only affects updating card information, or initial card data entry.

Updating Paypal payment information is completely unaffected.

We are working with our payment processor, and credit card updating will work as normal as soon as their issues are resolved.
