[RESOLVED] Grid-Wide Rolling Restart

[RESOLVED 2:30PM PDT, 13 October 2011] Today’s grid-wide rolling restart has been completed.

[UPDATED 9:00 AM PDT, 13 October 2011] Our Grid-Wide rolling restart will begin momentarily. Please refrain from rezzing no copy objects, making inworld L$ transactions and please save all builds. We will update this post when the restarts have completed.

[POSTED 4:40PM PDT, 12 October 2011] In order to implement an essential processing upgrade, we will be performing a grid-wide rolling restart tomorrow (Thursday, 13 October) beginning at 9:00 AM Pacific.

The restarts will move through the BlueSteel channel first, followed by all other server channels.

During restart, please refrain from rezzing no-copy objects and making inworld L$ transactions. Also consider saving backups of builds in progress.

If the scope or scheduling of the work changes, we’ll post an update.  We’ll give an all-clear when the restarts have completed.
