[Resolved Jan 12th 12:10PM PST] Rolling restarts for regions on the Bluesteel, LeTigre and Magnum channels have been completed.

[UPDATED Jan 12th 10:00 AM PST] Rolling restarts for regions on the Bluesteel, LeTigre and Magnum channels have begun.  Please make sure to save all builds and refrain from making purchases during this time.

[UPDATED Jan 11th 11:30 AM PST] The rolling restarts for today have been completed.

[UPDATED Jan 11th 5:30 AM PST] Rolling restarts for regions on the main server channels will begin in a half hour. Please make sure to save all builds and refrain from making purchases during this time.

[POSTED January 10th, 9:20AM PST] Starting at 6:00am PDT on Tuesday, Jan. 11th, we will be performing rolling restarts on all main server channels. On Wednesday, Jan 12th at 8:00am PDT, we will be restarting regions on the BlueSteel server channel, at 9:00am PDT we will be restarting region on the LeTigre server channel, and at 10:00am PDT we will be restarting the Magnum server channels. [RESOLVED Jan 12th 12:30PM PST] Voice has returned to normal operation.

[POSTED Jan 12th 9:40AM PST] Residents may experience issues with inworld voice chat not connecting or randomly disconnecting. Linden Lab is aware of the situation and will update this post when we have more information.

[POSTED Jan 11th 2:50PM PST] We will be restarting roughly 200 regions currently on the Blue Steel release candidate for maintenance at approximately 5:00pm PST today.

[UPDATE 7:09pm PDT] The BlueSteel regions have been returned to service.

[UPDATE 5:08pm PDT]  We are still working on the BlueSteel regions at this time.  We plan to have all BlueSteel server regions back online within 2 hours.  Please follow this blog for any new updates. 

All BlueSteel regions will be shutting down within the next few minutes for a round of unscheduled maintenance. This affects 1,935 regions.

We plan to have the regions returned to service within two hours. If the scope or schedule of the work changes, we’ll keep you updated here.

[Posted 09 Jan 2011, 12:38am PST] We will be conducting maintenance on the Second Life Blog and Forums on 10 Jan 2011 starting at 9am PST. The maintenance is should take approximately 30 minutes. During this time the Second Life Blogs, Forums, and Answers will be unavailable. Please keep an eye on this post for updates.

[Posted Sat Jan 8, 2011 2:22pm] There will be a planned billing maintenance session on Jan 10th at 10pm PST. Estimated length of the downtime is 30-60 minutes. During that time, please refrain from trying to update payment information. This will also affect land fees, membership fees, purchasing L$, and anything else that would normally be charged to the payment method on file. All regular billing activity will resume automatically after the maintenance.
