[Posted 6 AM, Tuesday, Sept 21, 2010] Rolling restarts will start shortly and last until noon today. This will affect all regions, but each individual region should only be offline for a half hour or so. Please check back here for updates.

[RESOLVED] Support Portal Maintenance Saturday Night

[RESOLVED 8:10pm PDT] The scheduled maintenance for our support Live chat and Case (ticket) processing is complete.

Our support system vendor has scheduled an hour of maintenance for Saturday, 18 September, beginning at 7pm PDT. Between 7pm and 8pm PDT, Live Chat and case (ticket) processing will be unavailable.

If the scope or the schedule of the work changes, we’ll update you here.

[RESOLVED 11:35am PDT] The problems with Secondlife.com log-ins have been resolved. Log-ins have returned to normal.

[Updated 16 Sept 2010, 12:01am PDT] We are continuing to work to resolve the live chat issues residents are experiencing related to disconnecting mid-chat. We will continue to post updates to this blog as we have more information.

Some Credit Card Authorizations Offline 7pm Tonight

One of our credit card authorization services has scheduled a quick round of maintenance beginning at the top of the hour (7pm Pacific). The maintenance is projected to take slightly under half an hour.

Some Residents may find attempts to authorize charges failing during this time.

[Resolved 13 Sept 2010, 1249am PDT] Our support telephone lines are connecting calls again.

[Reopened 13 Sept 2010, 12:28am PDT] We are aware that residents are having issues connecting calls to our telephone support lines and and working to restore service as soon as possible. We will post an update to this blog once we have more information.

[Resolved 12 Sept 2010, 9:05am PDT] We have restored service to our support telephone numbers. Residents should be able to connect to support representatives again. As the lines have been down for a bit, please be patient as wait times may be longer than normal.
