[RESOLVED May 27 9:31am PDT] The scheduled database maintenance has been completed.
[POSTED May 26th 11:55am PDT] Beginning at 05:30 PDT on Thursday, 27 May, we will be performing maintenance on one of our databases. During this maintenance, some residents will not be able to access or remain logged in to Second Life. The estimated time for maintenance is approximately one hour. Please check this blog for updates on the maintenance’s progress.
[RESOLVED May 26th 12:45pm PDT] We have completed the deployment of Server 1.38.6 to all remaining simulators.
[UPDATE May 26th 7:03am PDT] The rollout of 1.38.6 to the remaining simulators has begun. We will update this post if there are any difficulties or when the deploy is officially complete.

[Resolved 21 May 2010, 10:45am] The teleport and region access issues from yesterday have been resolved. If you are still unable to teleport into a region, or if your region is down for more than an hour, please contact support so we can investigate the issue.

While the region is inaccessible it cannot be reached via teleport, neighboring region, or login. The repair process is ongoing and we will continue to update the blog as more information becomes available.

[7:00 pm Pacific] The live chat function at secondlife.com/support is currently unavailable. We’re working to get this issue resolved as soon as possible. The ticket portal is available as well as the billing support lines and concierge phone support.
