[RESOLVED] XMLRPC Issues

[RESOLVED 2:41pm PST] The issues have all been resolved. XStreet SL purchases are re-enabled and all in-world functions should have returned to normal as well.

[UPDATED 12:14pm PST] We are continuing to work on this issue. In the meantime, XStreet SL purchases have been disabled as to avoid any undue complications. We will update this blog when we have more information.

[POSTED 11:26am PST] There are currently some issues with XMLRPC functions. This may result in payments to XStreet terminals not fully processing or possible delayed/failed deliveries, some script issues, and some vendor/server issues… as examples. We are working to resolve this as soon as possible and will update this blog post as details became available.

[RESOLVED] Intermittent Region Issues

[RESOLVED 3:32pm PST] While the issue of region delays has been resolved, there may be some regions that are getting up to speed a bit longer than others.  We ask that you please be patient as they will be available shortly.

[UPDATED 12:27pm PST] Some progress has been made; however, work continues on this issue and will be resolved as soon as possible. We will update this blog when more details are available.

[POSTED 9:41am PST] This morning, various regions are suffering a delay in returning from a crash or restart. We are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, in the meantime we are manually addressing regions which are having this issue. Please watch this blog post for further updates as they become available.

[11:58 PM Pacific] We have temporarily lost our online support portal. We hope to have support back up as soon as possible. We will keep you posted and let you know as soon as support has been restored.

[COMPLETED] Server Maintenance

[COMPLETED 7:14pm PST] All server maintenance restarts have been completed. The team who handled the restarts were able to finish in half the allotted time.

Over the next two days, we will be conducting maintenance on our servers which may affect some regions.  There will be occasional 5 minute restarts while this maintenance occurs.

PJIRA and Wiki Maintenance Tonight

[Posted 2:55pm PST] Tonight starting around 12:00am PST we will be conducting maintenance on PJIRA (http://jira.secondlife.com/) and the wiki (http://wiki.secondlife.com/). During this maintenance, there will probably be some interruption to both services. We expect the maintenance to last approximately one hour. We apologize for any inconvenience.

[COMPLETE] Rolling Restart for 1.34.1

[Updated 7:03pm PST] We have completed the rolling restarts needed to deploy server version 1.34.1.

[Updated 5:18pm PST] The rolling restarts for this evening are about to commence. We will update when this has completed.

[Updated 12:00pm PST] The rolling restarts for the morning are finished. We will continue the process tonight starting around 5:00pm PST.

[Updated 5:33am PST ] The rolling restart for today is about to commence. We will update when this has finished.

We will be deploying server version 1.34.1 to the main grid tomorrow due to a content threatening bug. The rolling restart is scheduled as follows:
  • 2009-12-15, Tuesday, 5:30am - Deploy to as many sims hosts as possible until 12:00pm
  • 2009-12-15, Tuesday, 5:00pm - Deploy to any remaining sim hosts

As with all of our server deploys, each region will be restarted once during one of the rolling restart periods. Most regions should be down no more than 5-10 minutes, although some fraction of the regions will take 20-30 minutes to upgrade. If your region stays down for more than 30 minutes, please contact support. Each region will receive warnings starting 5 minutes before that region is restarted.

[RESOLVED]-Lindex Disruptions

[RESOLVED] 07:00am PDT - All issues have now been resolved with the Lindex purchases.

[UPDATE - 05:30am PDT]  Some residents who are making Lindex purchases appear to be getting charged $2000 each time so again please refrain from making Lindex purchases until further notice.

[03:05am PDT]  Some residents maybe experiencing some difficulties purchasing currency inworld.

We are aware of the issue and working towards a speedy resolution. For the time being, please do not make any Lindex purchases as your payment method will be charged, but your purchase will not be delivered.

[December, 13 2009 3:00 AM PST] Scheduled maintenance to our Support Portal is underway.

On Sunday (13th December) at approximately 3:00 AM PST our Support Portal will be down for scheduled maintenance.  During this time residents will be unable to submit tickets or access Live Chat. Concierge and Billing support by phone will still be available.

* Update @ 2009-12-10 07:09 am PST: The deploy to odd numbered sim hosts is about to commence.
* Update @ 2009-12-09 12:27 pm PST: The deployment to even numbered sim hosts has completed.
* Update @ 2009-12-09 7:37 am PST: The deploy to even numbered sim hosts is about to commence.
* Update @ 2009-12-08 19:23 PST: The deployment to the pilot sim hosts has been completed. At this time, we are sticking to the original schedule.
* Update @ 2009-12-08 17:48 PST: The forementioned bug has been fixed and we are starting the pilot roll now.  If there are no other issues, we will stick to the original schedule for the rest of the roll.
* Update @ 2009-12-08 11:07 PST: The centrals are complete.  The sim roll is being delayed due to a recently discovered bug.  New schedule will be posted when its available.
