[RESOLVED] Rez Failures

Tuesday, June 9th, 2009

[RESOLVED 12:51 Pacific] ALL CLEAR on asset operations. Please be patient logging in for the next few minutes as we clear the login queue.  Try to keep your place in the queue by riding a single login attempt all the way in, rather than canceling and restarting.

[UPDATE 12:46 pm Pacific] Residents attached to at least one inventory server are currently unable to log in.  We’re correcting the problem as quickly as possible. Please watch for updates.

[12:38 pm Pacific] Residents are reporting that some attempts to rez objects from inventory are silently failing.  We’re checking the processing on all inventory servers. Please refrain from rezzing no-copy objects until we give the all clear.

[RESOLVED] Some regions not showing inworld

Saturday, June 6th, 2009

[7:17pm PST June 6 2009] This issue has been resolved, and regions should all be able to see each other now. Thank you for your patience.

[6:41pm PST June 6 2009] Currently some regions are not viewable from the next region inworld. This will affect avatar region crossings, cross-region builds, and communication between regions. This is only a temporary effect and will not cause permanent damage to cross-region builds.

Although the region may appear to be offline from inworld, they will still be accessible by direct teleport. Our technicians are aware of the issue and working to resolve it. Please check back for details.

Auction pages not working in some browsers

Saturday, June 6th, 2009

The auction pages of the Second Life website are currently not responding correctly to some viewers. For example, Safari is not working properly while Firefox is. If you see source code when visiting the auction pages, please use a different browser and you should be able to see them properly.

We expect this issue to be resolved on Monday. If there are any updates before then, they will be added to this blog.
