[RESOLVED] Second Life Issues Tracker offline

[07:55 AM Pacific - RESOLVED] The issues tracker is online again.

[07:38 AM Pacific]  The Second Life Issues Tracker will be offline for about 10 minutes for re-indexing.

We will update here when it is back online.

[REMINDER] [12 Nov 2008 6:35pm PST]

[10 Nov 2008 12:53pm PST] We’re arranging a partial outage on Thursday morning, November 13, 2008, for an upgrade to an inventory database. Only a small group of residents will be affected by this between 6:30 and 7:00 a.m. PST. Affected residents will not be able to log in during this time.

[RESOLVED] Problems with Viewer Upgrade

[10:15 AM Pacific - RESOLVED] Since rolling back to the previous version residents are able to log in again without any difficulty. The cause of the problem was that a central server stopped telling logins what the right viewer version was.

[10:00 AM Pacific] There is a problem with the new viewer upgrade, which is stopping residents from being able to login.

We are rolling back to our previous version for now in order to stop this from happening.

[RESOLVED] Second Life Voice maintenance

[04:00 AM Pacific - RESOLVED]  All voice maintenance should be completed now.

[02:15 AM Pacific]  The voice maintenance has commenced earlier than scheduled and is currently under way.

[00:45 AM Pacific]  There will be a short period of maintenance for Second Life Voice this morning, Wednesday 12th November, between 3.00am and 4.00am Pacific.

If there are any changes or updates to this we will publish them here.

Support Portal Maintenance: Wednesday 19th November

There will be a period of essential maintenance to our Support Portal on Wednesday 19th November from 6.00am until 10.00am Pacific.

During this time the ability to submit tickets and to use live chat will be unavailable.

[RESOLVED] Teleporting Difficulties

[Resolved 3:20pm PST] - The current Teleporting issues have been resolved and success rates are now back to normal.

[13:54] There is currently an issue unrelated to the earlier network problems that is interfering with residents ability to teleport. The issue is under investigation and further information will be posted when available.

[RESOLVED] Network issues

[RESOLVED 12:18]  The network issues affecting teleporting have been resolved.  Teleport success rates have returned to normal.

[UPDATE 11:23 a.m. PST] TP failures are still higher than normal. We’re working with our upstream provider to resolve routing slowdowns between our colocation facilities. There’s currently about 20% packet loss between them.

Due to network issues you might see a higher than usual teleport failure rate. We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible.

[RESOLVED] Regions going offline

[November 8th, 2008 at 05:59 am PST] The issues are resolved, all affected regions are back online.

[November 8th, 2008 at 04:59 am PST] Our Ops team is still hunting down the issues, we will keep you updated to our progress here.

[November 8th, 2008 at 03:59 am PST]You might see seemingly random regions going offline; most of these have been brought back up within a matter of minutes so far. This is due to some server issues at one of our Colocations which are being investigated as we speak.

[RESOLVED 11:08 am Pacific] The telephone lines are fully operational.

[10:51 am Pacific]  We have temporarily lost phone support via our service provider.  We have taken steps to contact them and hope to have phone support back up as soon as possible.
