[RESOLVED] Network Issues and Logins/Teleporting

[RESOLVED 6:44AM PDT] The problem has been fixed. Logins and teleports should return to normal once the initial rush to log back in subsides.

We are having a problem with a VPN that we are currently investigating. This will have an effect on teleporting as well as blocking some residents from being able to log in. We will have updates on the situation as soon as possible.

[RESOLVED 16:07] The database issue affecting inworld services has been resolved; all affected services should now be operating normally.

A database issue is affecting some inworld services causing slow response time and/or timeouts. There are also some reports of slow or failed logins. Until the all-clear is sounded please refrain from making transactions or rezzing no-copy items. Updates will be posted as further information becomes available.

[RESOLVED] Teleporting Issues

[RESOLVED 16:05] The issue causing the teleport problems has been resolved. Thank you for your patience throughout this investigation.

[UPDATE 14:31] There are reports from affected residents of items, clothing and attachments failing to rez. Affected residents should refrain from further rezzing attempts while the issue continues to be investigated.

There is currently an issue affecting teleports into and out of some regions. If you are experiencing teleporting problems, you may need to relog into a different region to move from one area to another. Ops is investigating and further updates will be made as information becomes available.

[Resolved] Logins & Land Store Unavailable

[RESOLVED 9:00pm PDT] The Land Store is back online and teleports should be behaving normally.

[UPDATE 6:49 pm PDT] Unfortunately the Land Store is still offline, and some residents are still reporting misrouted home teleports. Other in-world services shouldn’t be affected by this.

[UPDATE 5:48 pm PDT] The Land Store is still disabled, and teleport home requests are still intermittently failing. Our ops team is working on resolving these issues as soon as possible.

[UPDATE 4:48 pm PDT] Logins have been re-enabled and most services should be returning to normal, however the Land Store is still down. Also, teleporting home may be affected at the moment, so if your teleport fails, please use a landmark or the World Map to teleport until this issue has been resolved.

[UPDATE 3:58 pm PDT] Ops is still working on logins. No change in status to report yet.

[UPDATE 2:56 pm PDT] Logins are closed again.

[UPDATE 2:47 pm PDT] We’re re-opening logins.  Land store is still disabled. Please ride login efforts all the way, rather than quitting and restarting them.  We’ll keep you posted on Land Store and in world transactions.

[UPDATE 2:27pm PDT]  Please refrain from transacting or working with valuable (no-copy) assets until we sound an ALL CLEAR.

[UPDATE 2:22pm PDT]  Residents are reporting trouble opening tickets to Support.

[UPDATE 1:46pm PDT] Land Store and logins are again temporarily disabled while Operations addresses load.

[UPDATE 12:32pm PDT] Land Store is back online.

[UPDATE 12:20pm PDT] Logins are re-enabled.  We’ll monitor for a few minutes before we turn Land Store back on.

Logins are likely to be slow for the next few minutes.  Please try to ride one login effort all the way through, rather than canceling and restarting the login.  That’ll keep your place in the queue.

[UPDATE 12:12 PM PDT]  The Land Store has also been temporarily disabled.

We’ve momentarily blocked logins to correct a load issue in the login process.  We’ll have them open again ASAP.

[RESOLVED] Auction site currently showing errors for some residents

[RESOLVED 08:45 am PDT] The land auction site has been fixed.

[UPDATE 7:08AM PDT] Still no word on when we expect this problem to be fixed but it is being addressed and we hope to have better news soon.

Reports have been coming in of residents unable to bid on auctions and receiving the message “Invalid User Integration Information”. We are investigating the source of the problem and the experts have been paged and we hope to have the problem fixed as soon as possible. As soon as there is anything new to report, we will be sure to let you know.

[RESOLVED - 09:35am PDT]   The problem seems to be resolved but our team is continuing to look at the root cause.

[UPDATE - 09:30am PDT]  Logins re-enabled.

We have temporarily disabled logins.

We are currently experiencing a problem with the database that may result in difficulties logging in, teleporting, rezzing objects,   We’re aware of this issue and our ops team are working to resolve it as swiftly as possible.  Meantime, please avoid making important transactions or rezzing no-copy objects.

[RESOLVED 5:07 PM PDT] The database has recovered and services should now be returning to normal.

[UPDATE 4:59 PM PDT] Logins have been re-enabled.

[UPDATE 4:05 PM PDT] We have temporarily disabled logins while this issue is investigated.

We are currently experiencing a problem with the database that may result in difficulties logging in, rezzing objects, completing transactions, and searching. We are aware of this issue and our ops team are working to resolve it as swiftly as possible. In the mean time, please avoid making important transactions or rezzing no-copy objects.

Scheduled Maintenance on In-World Voice, 19 August

In world voice chat will be unavailable tomorrow, 19 August, between 11:00 pm and 11:45 pm PDT.  

We apologize for the short notice. The outage is due to a router upgrade being performed outside of Lab facilities.

We’ll post any unexpected developments here.

[Resolved - 10:40p PDT] Voice chat is working as usual again. If you do not have voice capabilities, please try toggling the “Enable” checkbox for voice in Preferences. If you continue to experience issues with voice, please contact support for further assistance.

We are receiving some reports of issues with voice chat working properly, or at all. Toggling the voice chat off and back on may help restore your session. We are working to restore full functionality as soon as possible.
